MODULE 01

The strategy behind your portfolio

Just as with any other design, the strategy part is crucial. This is the module you don't find anywhere else (that's what made me create this course). We start from identifying your goals and your 'Whys', define how an ideal client would look like for you and how to position yourself on the market as a designer.

👉 You will understand how clients look at your portfolio and how you can factor that in when creating designs and writing case studies for maximum impact.


👉 We will create a detailed persona for your ideal customer (or employer). This is a must-do exercise for everybody, since if you don't set clear expectations of who do you want to work with, chances are you will have a hard time attracting that client.


👉 An effective elevator pitch is a must-have. You will step out from being "just another UX designer" by developing a pitch that reflects your skills and positions you on the market.


👉 You will choose a platform for your portfolio website. We will focus on the big picture: what are your short-terms goals and long-term ones. I will help you find the best option for yourself to present your work, grow following, sell your services - even move into teaching or selling digital products in the future.

MODULE 02

Vetting projects and crafting content

In this module we will look at how to select the projects you need to include in your portfolio. I will lay out a detailed process to list out and evaluate each of your projects and make sure they are aligned with your goals and will attract those dream clients. 


From there, we are going to write case studies that will sell themselves to recruiters and clients so that they can also understand the value you can bring to the table.

👉 We're going to deal with NDAs—what NDAs are, how they effect your work and what are your options to showcase work protected by NDAs.


👉 A common issue: 'I don't have enough projects' — I got you covered. I have two step-by-step strategies you can implement to get those capstone projects for your portfolio.


👉 I know copywriting can be difficult for many of us designers. Explaining our work to clients, making sure they understand what we do without being techy. We will cover basic copywriting techniques you can implement right away when creating case studies. I also provide Portfolio Scripts - a collection of pre-written professional phrases you can copy paste in your case studies.

MODULE 03

Creating Your Portfolio Website

In this module we’re going to create your portfolio website. I will teach you my step-by-step formula of how to build up a high-converting homepage and case study pages. We are going to create all the designs GIFs videos and embedded documents to make your case studies really shine.

In this module, I will teach you how to you can use PDFs to target specific companies to make sure you will have one foot in the door. I'm teaching tactics and strategies I used to build up my agency and sell UX consulting services for over 500,000 dollars. I will also teach you my secret slide deck formula to help you show up as a pro when presenting your work.
